Why uPVC?

'Unplasticized Polyvinylchloride' (u.P.V.C) is used extensively throughout the world in the building industry to manufacture such items as water pipes, drain pipes, gutters and electrical conduits to name but a few, and is also used to extrude window and door frames. Its rigid and durable qualities make uPVC an ideal material for this application. The extrusion we use is manufactured by "Rehau", an international company who have been producing extrusion for the building industry for many years.

uPVC French doors

UV Resistant: "Rehau" uPVC extrusion is a high impact, ultra violet and weather resistant material, a formulation designed specifically for Australia's harsh conditions.

Advanced Construction: Our Windows & Doors have fusion welded joints which allow the multi chambered profiles to be joined perfectly, unlike timber and aluminium.

Saltwater Resistant: The salt air of coastal regions can be very destructive. Rehau's specially formulated PVC's are resistant to ALL atmospheric conditions.

Maintenance Free: Apart from the occasional wipe down, our windows and doors are colourfast and white throughout.

uPVC windows

Weatherproof: Our windows and doors have 2 or 3 weather seals, depending on design; these seals protect each opening and the windows and doors remain completely draught-proof and waterproof, even under the most severe weather conditions.

Added Security: Up to 10 different locking points can be added to our windows and doors, and when used in conjuction with toughened safety / laminated glass this would make it virtually impossible for intruders to gain entry.

Australian Standard Approval: Water penetration and air-infiltration tested to Australian standards AS2047/2048.
